Description of Telescope Search 6.2:
Telescope is a FREE web metasearch engine for Windows. In addition to general web search, Telescope can search web directories, image search engines, news headlines, and encyclopedias. It can access 8 web search engines and 29 search engines in total. Your query is converted into advanced boolean or simple keywords, according to each search engine's support for boolean operators. Duplicate results are removed. The Verify feature double-checks the relevance of each page, removing broken links in the process and locating the most useful pages. There is also a Find in Results feature. The search history stores a list of your previous searches. Internet Explorer is required, but results can be opened in any web browser. Download file is extremely compact. Telescope can find good results for even very difficult searches.
