Description of Hi HelpIndex 2.3.7:
Provides a contents tree and keyword search index for a web site, CD-ROM or as the help system of other programs.Hi Jump provides navigation arrows on each page. The HelpIndex bean can make a HTML-based help system for Java programs when combined with the Hi Brow browser bean. Different contents/index/language sets can be chosen in the Select tab. HelpIndex may either run within a web page or as a floating window above the browser. HelpIndex is browser and server independent as it uses static help index files. Most people will use Hi Lab to create their help index files, scanning existing web pages and then editing the Contents and Index. Alternatively, the MakeHelpIndex Java application may be used. HelpIndex is better than a server based text search. Hi HelpIndex is a Java applet and Java bean. Hi Lab is for Window 95 and NT.
