Sentinel will monitor servers, routers and other networks devices for proper operation. Sentinel is a multithreaded application allowing it to independently, accurately test multiple protocols on multiple servers. Each thread has independent notification options allowing you to notify different administrators for different servers. For example: Sentinel can contact your servers to make sure they are accepting connections and accessing mail boxes. If a critical server has a fault Sentinel will notify the staff member responsible for that server via email, pager, web page or sound. Sentinel logs the results of each test to an MS Access database allowing you to create your own custom reports. Sentinel also uses the latest in XML and CSS technology to post the current status of your network to your web server. Using XML allows you to customize the web pages to use you own logo and match your corporate style guide.
