Description of Video Recording Applet SDK 1.0:
Video recording java applet allows recording video in mp4 format ( H.264 video and AAC audio) on the web page and uploads it to web server via HTTP.
Initially, applet records video in the temp file on the client computer, then user can upload video to the web server. The server script receives mp4 file on the server and saves it into a specified folder.
Target OS Platforms: Windows 98/NT/2000/ME/XP/2003/Vista, Mac OS 10.4.
Target browsers:
- on the Windows: Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 and up, Netscape 7, FireFox, Mozilla, Opera.
- on the Mac: Safari, FireFox.
